Field of View

Come join us on Tuesday June 19th as we host Field of View, a one night salon curated by Baang, a media collaboration between artists Maria Kozak and Jane LaFarge Hamill.

Along with a selection of their favorite artists working in virtual and augmented reality, Baang will be sharing their recent projects and the inspiration behind them. All of the artists involved utilize technology in inventive ways to create wholly original immersive environments.

Baang was founded by artists Maria Kozak and Jane LaFarge Hamill, on a mutual curiosity to create imaginative experiences centered around truth, beauty and social consciousness.

Member Spotlight | Hey Mama

Hey Mama co-founders Katya Libin and Amri Kibbler are on a mission to help modern working women realize their potential.

After decade long careers in the media industry (CEO Libin as a sales, sponsorship and events lead, and Creative Director Kibbler as an editor and stylist), they met through their daughters and their friendship quickly flourished when they realized that they both wanted more than what their nine-to-five corporate jobs could offer.

How great would it be, they thought, to create a community of like-minded entrepreneurial women that could support and inspire each other to realize their potential and pursue their dreams, and so in 2015, Hey Mama was born. Offering-up a daily dose of career advice, parenting tips and lifestyle trends, as well as organizing regular events and meet-ups, Hey Mama now has a membership of over 800 CEO's, founders, creatives, artists and industry leaders from a diverse mix of sectors including wellness, tech, fashion and finance.

The New Work Project is thrilled to be hosting the Mama Mentor's event on Thursday May 31st, in partnership with Hey Mama and Thinx. Members will break out in to intimate industry groups to get advice, share resources and receive support from mamas that have taken their business to the next level. Speakers will include: Ali Wyatt, Co-Founder, Girl Boss; Ariane Goldman, Founder & CEO, Hatch; Jacq Tatelman, Founder, State Bags; Maria Molland Selby, CEO, Thinx; Noria Morales, Senior Director, Influencer & Brand Collaborations, Target.

Culture Of: Chill

Come join us at The New Work Project on Tuesday May 22nd as we host another Culture Of:, a monthly event series for strategists and creatives that explores emerging subcultures, internet trends and consumer behaviors, co-hosted with thought leaders.

After the runaway success of Culture Of: Sneakers, this time we're exploring all things Chill. From mindfulness to cannabis, we'll be discussing why more and more people would rather stay-in than go out.

Listen to talks by 3 'Chilled' strategists, including one who has designed hygge in to her home. We’ll unpick the forces at play, hear from experts what’s driving this trend and find out what’s in it for brands.

Keep up on what's happening
