Drink & Draw: iPad Adobe Fresco Workshop

Come join us next Thursday, January 23rd as we partner with our very own member Gonzalo Gelso to host a drink filled evening aimed at teaching you some skills in digital art.

It’s not uncommon to see curated illustrations in a digital experience nowadays. Illustrations and drawings can be manipulated to describe modern abstract ideas that sometimes photography cannot portray.

Come have a drink or two (BYOB but no red wine please!) while you enjoy a brief presentation on Digital Art! Bring your iPad and draw along or take notes to learn how you could use Adobe Fresco to make digital art.

Make sure to install Adobe Fresco (there’s a free trial available).

You can RSVP here.

Using Design to Power Change

Come join us next Wednesday, November 20th as we partner with Ladies, Wine & Design to host an evening aimed at helping designers use their power to drive change.

As designers, more and more of us are questioning how we can use our expertise and careers to directly impact some of the biggest issues of our time: climate crisis, social impact, and political movements. Our expert panel will explain how they've structured their own design careers to be purpose-driven and will help you to better understand how you can use your power to drive change.

Panelists include:
Katie Klencheski, Founder, SMAKK Studios
Esme González Pillado, Parsons School of Design
Abby Grimshaw, The Century Foundation

There'll be inspiring conversations, and of course, wine.

Buy tickets here.

Keep up on what's happening

Thanks!
