Member Spotlight | Hey Mama

Hey Mama co-founders Katya Libin and Amri Kibbler are on a mission to help modern working women realize their potential.

After decade long careers in the media industry (CEO Libin as a sales, sponsorship and events lead, and Creative Director Kibbler as an editor and stylist), they met through their daughters and their friendship quickly flourished when they realized that they both wanted more than what their nine-to-five corporate jobs could offer.

How great would it be, they thought, to create a community of like-minded entrepreneurial women that could support and inspire each other to realize their potential and pursue their dreams, and so in 2015, Hey Mama was born. Offering-up a daily dose of career advice, parenting tips and lifestyle trends, as well as organizing regular events and meet-ups, Hey Mama now has a membership of over 800 CEO's, founders, creatives, artists and industry leaders from a diverse mix of sectors including wellness, tech, fashion and finance.

The New Work Project is thrilled to be hosting the Mama Mentor's event on Thursday May 31st, in partnership with Hey Mama and Thinx. Members will break out in to intimate industry groups to get advice, share resources and receive support from mamas that have taken their business to the next level. Speakers will include: Ali Wyatt, Co-Founder, Girl Boss; Ariane Goldman, Founder & CEO, Hatch; Jacq Tatelman, Founder, State Bags; Maria Molland Selby, CEO, Thinx; Noria Morales, Senior Director, Influencer & Brand Collaborations, Target.
